About the Role
In Phase International the UK's leading specialist in audio and driver safety devices in the UK automotive sector. We have been successfully trading in Nottingham for over 25 years with a proven history within our market sector as the go-to supplier.
Working on one of our products the Road Angel, we are looking to ensure that our database holds the best quality data for our customers, this will ensure that our cloud-based devices alert users promptly and correctly during their journey.
Your main tasks will be to take overall responsibility of the Road Angel device to review all mapping, warning and speeding data sets and sources of data. To review and create and plan to improve service sources and data accuracy, using a arrange of tools and networking initiative to include, DVLA, police safety checks, road safety users’ sites and other databases to ensure Road angel has the most robust and UpToDate details. This information will then also need to be updated by yourself on our internal systems to reflect and report any issues/changes which would be better for our users.
Role and Responsibilities:
To provide the highest levels of customer service by providing a knowledgeable and courteous customer experience.
Completing full and detailed reports of any road/camera changes that have been located or evidence that changes will be occurring in the future.
Testing newly developed devices for any issues and feeding this information back to the research and development department.
To build effective relationships with potential and existing customers
Communicating with the admin assistant via phone and email to log any priority road/camera changes.
Making accurate logs of any new or removed cameras and report backing and updating the system.
Attention to detail, with a passion for Maps, analyze data, and the desire to won and develop the Road Angel product.
Successful Applicant – Key attributes ·
Must have a full UK driving license and own car.
A keen eye for detail being able to spot hidden cameras or signage.
Strong geographical knowledge.
Confident in using devices such as Road Angels and Sat Navs.
Must be able to use own initiative to investigate information from other sources.
Must be clear and efficient in communicating to the Mapping Team.
Must have excellent oral and written English.
Must have a good interest in technology and databases.
